Hikone measuring

After three weeks monitoring every day and reporting nearly every day, we have to conclude that measuring radiation in Hikone, although only 60km from Tsuruga (where there are 5 nuclear power-plants), is more like taking temperature of a not-sick child. Let’s hope it will stay this way. About two weeks ago, we were standing ready to measure if the attempt to take a part (, which is 3 ton and was dropped in by accident before) out from  the core of Monju would have resulted in radiation being released. But happily nothing happened and the attempt went ok. Today we measured at the middle of lake Biwa and recodered our lowest reading 0.08uSv/h.
