Safecast at Ars Electronica

Last month we were lucky enough to be invited to Linz, Austria to participate in the annual Ars Electronica festival. We were invited to talk about Safecast and show off some of the devices we’ve been using. Joi Ito, Pieter Franken and I attended and we displayed an iGeigie prototype and a working bGeigie. We were able to speak on several occasions about Safecast, what we’re doing, what we’ve found, and where we hope this will lead. We made some exciting connections and hope that the fruits of some of those will be displayable soon. Here are some photos that Pieter took while we were there.
